Account Manager, Client Services (Atlanta, GA)

The Account Manager, Client Services will be a key player in the management of several important corporate accounts at Xceleration. Responsibilities for these clients' global Incentive Programs will include management of the Incentive Program implementation process, data management, customer service, and award fulfillment. The position will also have a strong focus on developing Program communications that engage participants, build Program awareness and enthusiasm, and that drive participant performance and award redemption.

 

The Account Manager, Client Services will have multiple day-to-day responsibilities that are time-sensitive and require a high level of attention to detail. S/he will interface directly with other Xceleration staff, Incentive Program participants, and Xceleration client and vendor contacts in order to complete projects and ensure client and participant satisfaction. External contacts may include creative resources, web developers, marketing/sales industry experts, event planning/travel professionals and award fulfillment vendors.

 

Specific duties and responsibilities will include the following:

    Incentive Program Management
  • Fully understand the audience, goals, criteria, and other specific details of each assigned incentive/reward Program in order to provide the best possible service to both clients and individual Program participants
  • Enter time-sensitive participant registration and sales data and identify inconsistencies/issues
  • Manage customer service correspondence, and identify and communicate key issues and resolutions based on specific Program criteria
  • Track, analyze and report on Program award orders
  • Assist with preparation of weekly reports and analyses related to Program performance
  • Provide data in support of client invoicing and assist with invoicing process, as needed
  • Contribute to the development of Program/contest themes, criteria (rules), and on-line award 'catalog' options
    Client/Participant/Vendor Interface
  • Professionally interact with client contacts, incentive Program participants, and Xceleration's vendors by telephone, email, and in person
  • Manage customer support inquiries and fulfillment questions with Program participants and vendors, utilizing Xceleration's web-based technology
  • Consult with client contacts regarding additional products/services offered by Xceleration, Inc.
    Program Communications
  • Review Program websites on a regular basis and provide feedback and recommendations; ensure all website content is up-to-date and implement changes as needed
  • Conduct website testing to ensure that communications are timely and accurate
  • Develop Program communications (including email 'blasts') for participants, based on analyses of overall activity and performance, and which focus on current criteria, featured awards, special 'bonus' opportunities, and/or special award 'discounts'

The ideal candidate should have 5 to 7 years of related work experience in Account Management or in an Agency Setting, in addition to a four-year college degree in a related field. Candidate must have concrete experience in a detail-oriented, tactical position, and have client-relationship building experience. Experience with Team Building and in the use of web-based technology/software applications to effectively manage job responsibilities is highly desirable, as is marketing communications experience.

 

Skills Required

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts
  • Strong proficiency in Windows 2000/XP and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access)
  • Strong HTML skills to build website pages and manage existing pages
  • Thorough knowledge of the Internet, search engines, and web-based applications
  • Demonstrated clear and effective professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Outstanding attention to detail, and the ability to uphold high quality control standards
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills, with a strong commitment to being a team player and meeting the client’s needs
  • Ability to work through complex issues in order to meet deadlines for deliverables
  • Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency, resourcefulness, responsibility and accountability

Position Type: Full-Time
